Small Business Advocate Office - HMIS

The Supplier Advocacy Office within Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) Acquisitions provides assistance to suppliers interested in business opportunities with the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract (HMESC) team. As the single point of contact for Acquisition information, the Supplier Advocacy Office provides the Procurement and Technical point of contacts and references for the HMESC team. Additionally, the Supplier Advocacy Office will provide timely response and assistance to specific supplier questions in coordination with the appropriate company/department in order to obtain an answer for the supplier.

 

Support

Supplier Advocacy Office is available for:

  • One-on-one meetings with suppliers

  • Facilitate vendor presentations with procurement contract officers and management.

  • Reviews and approves subcontracting plans

  • Maintain database of potential suppliers

  • Liaison to other Hanford contractors and DOE-RL

  • Helps suppliers direct their marketing efforts to Hanford Mission Integration Solutions Procurement and the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions projects

  • Gathers and reports small business subcontracting achievements
